Dried poppy pods (Papaver somniferum) from the 2026 harvest, hand-graded to our largest calibre: roughly 5 centimetres across and up. Only a small share of any harvest grows to this size, which is why it is picked out by hand and priced apart. Broad shoulders, a deep fluted crown and enough weight to sit convincingly in a heavy urn. Use them sparingly — a few of these will carry a whole console table. Strictly decorative. Grown here in the Netherlands and dried on Dutch soil, not imported.
