Dried poppy pods (Papaver somniferum) from the 2026 harvest, hand-graded to a large calibre of roughly 3 to 4 centimetres across. The grade most people mean when they picture a poppy pod: substantial enough that a handful in a tall vase already reads as a composition, still slim enough to mix with grasses and other dried stems. Colour settles into a soft stone-grey with faint ribbing that catches low light. Strictly decorative, and it will hold this form for years.
