Dried poppy pods (Papaver somniferum) from the 2026 harvest, hand-graded to an extra-large calibre of roughly 4 to 5 centimetres across. At this size the pod stops being a filler and becomes the object: three or five in a wide-mouthed vessel is a finished arrangement, and the crown reads clearly from across a room. Favoured by stylists and florists for window work and installations where a single silhouette has to carry. Strictly decorative. Grown here in the Netherlands and dried on Dutch soil, not imported.
